Thank you for loving
And caring for me
Also for all the little things
You do so beautifully
This is my greeting
A wish for joy and cheer
The greeting is for your birthday
The wish is for all year
Mom, you will always be the first woman I have ever loved. Whatever I am today, I’m because of you. I owe you so much. Thank you, Mom. Happy Birthday to you. May God bless you with all the happiness in the world.
You are the best friend I ever had. You mean more than just mother to me, you are my ultimate teacher and the sweetest person I know. I wish you a very happy Birthday.
What you mean to me, is something I can never express with words. I can never thank you enough for your love and care you showered on me. May God bless you with his care and peace. May you have a wonderful year. Happy Birthday Mom.
I hate to do this, but somebody has to put their foot down. I will not take “NO” for an answer either. No chores for you today! I know it feels weird, but it was just something I had to do. Happy Birthday, Mom!
There are some things that only moms can do like scare off spiders and take knots out of shoes…like making a sandwich with the crusts totally gone and singing a medley of bedtime songs. Everything you do, you do it with care, and for that I am grateful that you’ve always been there! Happy Birthday, Mommy!
You always shared life’s most important lessons with me. Remember this one: Shopping is like breathing. You should do it everyday! Happy Birthday, Mom!
When I think back to the most significant things about your life, sometimes I think it’s not what you did, but what you didn’t do that was most important to me. You didn’t kill me even thought I deserved it several times growing up. Happy birthday, and thank you.
It’s kind of funny to think of what your own parent would be like as a baby, and that’s what I think about on your birthday. You actually get to remember how funny I looked when I was born.
Happy birthday, Mother,
Even though you might prefer
Life without these markers,
Each too public to defer.
Now that you are fifty,
Sing to us your own sweet song,
That we might celebrate your life,
Rejoicing all night long.
Each of us has love to bring,
Each a special song to sing,
To lose your heart among.
